The problem we solve together

Growing companies waste 25–35% of their software budget on duplicate tools, forgotten trials, and silent auto-renewals. The data is already in Fortnox — but spread across hundreds of supplier invoices, it is invisible to the people who need to act on it. Fortnox keeps your books accurate. Zorah turns those same invoices into decisions: which tools to keep, cancel, or renegotiate, and when.

What the integration does that neither system can alone

  • Fortnox records the invoice. Zorah recognises it as a recurring SaaS subscription, assigns an owner, and tracks its renewal date.
  • Card purchases are booked as vouchers, not invoices — they carry no vendor field, just journal rows and free text. Zorah classifies each one to recover the tool behind it.
  • Zorah cross-references every vendor with your card-based and manually-added tools to flag duplicates across payment methods.
  • Zorah layers AI on top of your Fortnox data — duplicate detection, waste analysis, and Keep/Cancel/Review recommendations — that accounting software is not built to do.

Save time, cut spend, stay in control

Every tool surfaced — invoiced and card-paid

SaaS paid by invoice never shows on a card statement, and card purchases never become supplier invoices. Zorah reads both from Fortnox — supplier invoices and card vouchers — so nothing slips through the cracks.

Never miss a renewal

Zorah alerts the right owner 30, 14, 7, and 1 days before each renewal — and ramps up reminders for anything you have marked to cancel.

Always current, zero manual entry

A daily sync keeps your portfolio in step with Fortnox. New vendors are flagged for review; existing subscriptions update themselves.

Read-only and GDPR-aligned

Zorah only reads your supplier invoices and card vouchers and never writes back to Fortnox. Data is processed in the EU and encrypted in transit and at rest.

Who gets the most out of it

The integration is built for Swedish SMBs and scale-ups running 20–300 employees who pay for a growing pile of SaaS tools and already do their bookkeeping in Fortnox. It is especially valuable for:

  • Finance and operations leads at tech-enabled scale-ups, where invoice-billed tools (cloud, CRM, data) dominate the SaaS budget.
  • Accounting firms managing SaaS-heavy clients who want a spend dashboard on top of the books they already keep.
  • CFOs and controllers preparing for budget reviews who need every recurring software cost in one place — with a clear cancel list.

How the connection works

What data is transferred

  • Supplier invoices (vendor, amount, currency, date)
  • Supplier details (name, contact, organisation info)
  • Invoice periods used to infer billing cycle (monthly vs annual)
  • Card vouchers from the bookkeeping journal (transaction date, amount, journal rows and their free-text description)

Data flows in one direction only — from Fortnox into Zorah. Zorah never writes to your Fortnox account.

What to expect after you connect

01

Connect

In Zorah, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect Fortnox. You are redirected to Fortnox to authorise the connection via OAuth 2.0.

02

Authorize

Grant Zorah read-only access to your supplier invoices, and to the bookkeeping journal if you want card vouchers included. No write permissions are requested — your accounting workflow stays untouched.

03

Backfill

Zorah imports the last 12 months of supplier invoices and card vouchers and groups them into subscriptions — one per tool, with cost, owner, and next renewal date. Usually under a minute.

04

Stay in sync

A daily background sync pulls new and updated invoices and vouchers. You review and act; Zorah keeps the data fresh.

It is close to plug-and-play: connect once, and the first sync runs immediately. The only setup is reviewing the subscriptions Zorah creates and assigning owners — most teams finish in under 15 minutes.
